He who dreams of drinking⋯⋯

夢飲酒者⋯⋯

...will cry in the morning.

⋯⋯旦而哭泣。

He who dreams of crying...

夢哭泣者⋯⋯

...will go hunting in the morning.

⋯⋯旦而田獵。

When dreaming, he doesn’t know he is dreaming.

方其夢也，不知其夢也。

Within the dream he is also within a dream.

夢之中又占其夢焉。

Only when he awakes, does he know he was dreaming.

覺而後知其夢也。

There shall one day be a Great Awakening...

且有大覺⋯⋯

...and only then will we know that everything has been a Great Dream.
